A MAN has been jailed for 18 months after police in Chesterfield found heroin in his car.
Derby Crown Court heard this month how Benjamin Wain, 21, was stopped on Hollis Lane, at around 3.30pm, on Thursday, April 12, 2012.
The vehicle was searched and cash and heroin was found, according to the police.
Wain, of Whitewood Way, Matlock, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He appeared at Derby Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, January 10.
The court also ordered the forfeiture of the Volkswagen Golf GTI he was travelling in, and £810
cash under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
