BUXTON fashion designer Joyce Ridings has added a range of hats to her collection, inspired by her own experience of hair loss following treatment for breast cancer at The Christie in Manchester.
Joyce, 69, runs her own boutique in Manchester but it was not until she had her own personal battle with breast cancer that she realised she could put her skills to use to help other patients.
She said: “The hats in my new collection are made from cashmere and are designed with style and comfort in mind. I wanted a percentage of the sales to go to The Christie, the tremendous specialist cancer centre where I am currently receiving treatment.”
