Job-hunters in the Dales are being urged to attend an open recruitment day at Gulliver’s Kingdom where 110 jobs will be up for grabs.
The family-run company hopes its recruitment drive will appeal to unemployed people from across the region.
Gulliver’s managing director, Julie Dalton, said: “We are offering job hunters the chance to apply for well-paid positions with lots of opportunities to progress within the industry.
“It’s a chance for long-term or newly unemployed people to get back into work and re-train in a welcoming environment – experience isn’t always necessary as we offer great training and development programmes, our main goal is to find people with the drive and enthusiasm to fit in with the Gulliver’s team.”
Many of the company’s management team started out as teenagers in ride operator roles, Julie added.
Jobs available include ride operators, maintenance workers, catering staff, gardeners and cleaners.
The recruitment day will be held on Saturday, March 9, from 10am at the Matlock Bath theme park site. Anybody is welcome to attend.
