A COUNCILLOR has urged villagers to use grit bins responsibly.
Cllr Eva Lawson made the call during last week’s meeting of Hayfield Parish Council.
She said: “People should not be using wheelbarrows and buckets to empty grit bins.
“I’ve seen it happening.”
The village has been hit by heavy snow during the cold snap.
