Family fun, music and entertainment was on offer at Chesterfield canal festival - as thousands flocked to enjoy the annual event.
Held at Staveley Town Basin over the weekend, the festival included dance displays, scores of stalls and boat trips.
Pleasley Vale Canoe and Activity Club ran activities and birds of prey displays, face painting and a climbing tower was also on offer.
The Constitution Hill bridge was also officially opened to boats.
Chair of the canal trust Robin Stonebridge said around 8,000 people attended the two-day celebration.
He added: “It went really well. Lots of people came along and were interested to learn about the canal.
“There was so fabulous music and a really relaxed atmosphere.”
