WATCH out – dinosaurs are back in Buxton!

High Peak artist Andy Hill is showcasing his fantastic steel sculptures of the prehistoric animals at the town’s Pavilion Gardens’ conservatory.

The impressive exhibition will run throughout January and February and promises to be a roaring success.

Explaining how he got into the quirky trade, artistic Andy said: “On a visit to Oxford Road museum in Manchester, I had my first encounter with a full-size dinosaur exhibit.

“It was a defining moment for me and there and then I decided that I was going to make steel dinosaur sculptures.”

When Andy’s creations featured in Buxton Museum two years ago, visitor numbers increased dramatically – making it one of the most successful exhibitions at the Terrace Road gallery.
