Commuters and residents are being warned about the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Thursday, May 1, in and around Derbyshire.

M1 Nottinghamshire - Slow traffic on M1 northbound between J27, A608 (Hucknall) and J28, A38 (Alfreton).

M1 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on M1 southbound between J29a, Markham (Markham Vale) and J28, A38 (Alfreton). In the roadworks area.

A6 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on A6 Chapel Street in both directions in Belper between the A609 New Road junction and the A517 Bridge Foot junction.

A38 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A38 southbound in Little Eaton at Little Eaton Island. In the roadworks area. Congestion to the Morley Lane junction.

A38 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A38 northbound between Watchorn Island in Alfreton and Alfreton in South Normanton.

A38 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A38 Kingsway southbound in Derby at Markeaton Island.

A52 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A52 Eastgate inbound in Derby at Pentagon Island. Congestion to the A5111 Raynesway junction.

A52 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way westbound in Borrowash between Nottingham and the Cole Lane junction.

A52 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way inbound between Nottingham and The Qmc Island.

A444 Derbyshire - A444 Woodland Road in Stanton clear between The White Horse and the A514 Cadley Hill Road Roundabout junction.

A635 Greater Manchester - Heavy traffic on A635 Stamford Street westbound in Stalybridge at the B6176 Rassbottom Street traffic lights junction.
