Many residents woke up to a dusting of snow this morning (Sunday, March 10) and more could be on the way later today.

The yellow ‘be aware’ alert is in force from 4pm today until 9am on Monday.

A Met Office spokesman said today would be largely cloudy with occasional sleet and snow showers. Snow showers are expected to continue throughout the night accumulating in places.
