Cute kids clinch contest gongs

Derbyshire Times Child of the Year competition, Winner of the 0-12 month category is Harrison Jae Ashby.

Derbyshire Times Child of the Year competition, Winner of the 0-12 month category is Harrison Jae Ashby.

We had hundreds of entries and now the winners of our much-loved Child of the Year contest can be revealed.

Harrison Jae Ashby stormed to victory in the 0-12 month category while Ella Wall clinched the 13-24 month group and Paige Barnes won the 25-36 month class.

The adorable winners will receive a free canvas courtesy of our photographic company, Foto Imaging.

As per usual the annual competition proved hugely popular with hundreds of parents popping down to Chesterfield Co-op to get a picture of their youngsters.

The cute snaps were printed in the Derbyshire Times and more than 1,000 of you voted for the winners in a public vote.

Editor James Mitchinson said: “Well done to the winners and everyone who took part in this year’s Child of the Year.”
