CHESTERFIELD and Matlock firefighters rescued three people who were trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision.
The crash happened on the B6001 road, at Hassop, about 3.20pm, on Wednesday, July 11, between two saloon cars.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to successfully free three people.”
An ambulance took one casualty to hospital and another casualty was taken by air ambulance. Firefighters made the area safe within an hour-and-half.
