A BRAND new course on parish churches is to be held in the High Peak.
Forming part of Derbyshire Community Adult Education’s spring term, the course on the English parish church, its architecture and place in history will be held at Losehill Hall, Castleton, from Monday January 7.
Tutor John Riddall said: “We will be tracing the development of the parish church against the background of English history from the beginnings until the present.”
In addition to the ten sessions, there will be visits to local churches.
