Connecting communities across the Peak District

PEOPLE who live and work in the Peak District are being encouraged to get involved in a local project to help improve broadband services in the area.

Peak District partners are holding a series of open evenings to explain the benefits of faster broadband and what is required to get the Peaks up to speed.

There will be four events and the first will be held at Hope Valley College on Thursday, December 13, from 6 until 8pm. Events will follow in the New Year covering the Ashbourne, Whaley Bridge and Bakewell areas.

Further events will be advertised after Christmas. For more information call 01629 816200.
