GRINDLEFORD Carnival is set to take place on Saturday.

The event, which will include fancy dress competitions, magic shows, a raffle and stalls, will take place at Bridge Field, Main Road, Grindleford, from 2pm.

Stephen Blowen, chair of Grindleford Carnival, said: “We’d welcome anyone to come and spend the afternoon in such a wonderful setting.”
