Police are studying CCTV footage after thieves stole a television, games console and photographic kit from a house in Clowne.

The offenders smashed a double glazed window and opened it from the inside to get access to the property, in Heritage Drive.

They then searched the house and made off with a haul including a 37in black and grey Toshiba television, an Xbox 360 console and controllers, a digital camera and cash.

Police are studying CCTV footage from the local are and are appealing for anyone with information relating to the burglary to come forward.

The offence took place between 2pm on Saturday, February 16 and just after 5pm on Sunday, February 17.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
