CHESTERFIELD: Woman suffers injuries after alleged assault

A woman suffered facial swelling and bruising after an alleged assault in Chesterfield.

The woman said she was walking along Walton Road between 10pm on Saturday, February 9 and 1am on Sunday, February 10 when the incident happened.

Her next memory was of being treated by paramedics after being found unconscious.

Anyone who may have seen the incident, or has any information, should contact Derbyshire police on 101, the non emergency number, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
