Police are appealing for information after a teenager suffered serious injuries in a road traffic incident in Chesterfield.
At 8.35pm on Sunday January 6, police were called to the High St, Old Whittington, at the roundabout with Woodmere Drive to a teenager who had been thrown from a motorbike.
The 17-year-old male rider of a blue Honda motorbike received serious spinal injuries and is still being treated in hospital.
It is not know whether the motorbike had been in collision with another vehicle.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact PC Adam Shipley on the Roads Policing Unit on the non-emergency number 101.
