This larger than life mastiff cross was found straying in the streets.
Aged around three years old, he has been nicknamed him Jack by the dog wardens who found him.
Jack - an American bulldog/boxer crossbreed - is desperately in need of a new home as he has been in kennels for some time.
A North East Derbyshire District Council dog warden said: “Jack is a big softie – could he be the perfect companion for you?
“If you think you can give him a loving new home please contact us as soon as possible on 01246 231111.”
All adoptions are subject to a suitable home check.
