Charity ball for air ambulance

A March ball held at Buxworth Memorial Club has raised over �1,400 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

A ball held to relaunch Buxworth Memorial Club has raised over £1,400 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

The event was organised by Anna Smith and Jane Handford and with donations and money raised on the night, a total of £1,426.94 was collected.

Buxton’s Pete Corbett, fundraiser for the DLRAA, said: “I’d like to thank everyone at Buxworth Memorial Club for this generous donation for the air ambulance.”

Thanks were given to everyone who helped and supported the event, which took place in March.
