Revised plans to drill for gas in a Derbyshire village will be presented and discussed at a public meeting on Tuesday night.
Seven Star Natural Gas (SSNGL) had been seeking planning permission to carry out the extraction on land off Dark Lane, Calow, to generate electricity for up to 5,000 homes.
The firm controversially planned to carry out the operation round-the-clock every day of the week for a period of up to 15 years.
However, SSNGL withdrew its application amid widespread public concern and went back to the drawing board to amend its proposals.
The new plans will be on show and open to scrutiny at Calow Primary School from 7pm.
