Around 100 suspected cannabis plants have been found during a drugs warrant in Calow.
Police carried out the search on Top Road last Friday under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They seized around 100 suspected cannabis plants in different stages of growth and three men have been arrested.
Sgt Aidan Stones, of the Holmewood, Grassmoor, Calow and Arkwright Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Whenever we receive information about possible illegal drug activity we will always look to develop that information and investigate further if appropriate.
“Without the support and help of the local community this wouldn’t be possible and I would ask that residents get in touch with us if they see any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood as it really helps us to target anti-social behaviour and keep our area safe.”
A 31-year-old local man, a 40-year-old man from Sheffield and a 43-year-old man from Rotherham were arrested on suspicion of drug offences. All three men have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information relating to drug misuse or any other crime can call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
