Three teenage girls witnessed a man expose himself in the underpass between Loundsley Green and Holmebrook ValleyPark and now their family want people to be aware this man is still on the loose.

Granddad to two of the children involved can not believe this has happened.

Rob Cupitt said: “This man is a pervert and frightened my granddaughters and their friend.

“I don’t understand why he felt the need to do what he did but he needs catching.”

The incident happened on Tuesday, December 15 as the young girls walked to St Mary’s School, in Newbold and was done by a man who was out running.

Derbyshire Police confirm that two calls were made around 8.35 and police searched the area but could not find the white man who was described as being in his 60s of slim build wearing a red jumper and black shorts.

The retired 64-year-old from Holme Hall Crescent said: “My girls rang the police who told them to wait there and their mum who got there before the police and looked after them.

“They seem alright now but it was a very frightening time for them as they didn’t know why this was happening.

“I need to correct this wrong of what he did and want to warn other parents and school children that he is still out there so people can be on their guard and protect their families from something like this happening to their loved ones.
