Fundraising champion Ann Molyneaux marks a poignant anniversary every year by organising a collection among relatives and friends.

Ann has raised around £450 through collections and making craft items with her pals which she donates to a cardiac support group in memory of her husband who had a heart condition.

John Wardle, chairman of the Dicky Tickers Heart Support Group of Clay Cross said: “ Since her husband succumbed to a heart condition some years ago she has arranged a collection from family members and friends on the anniversary of her husband’s death as well as producing craft items for us to sell to benefit our members.

“She is a great example to us all, an absolute angel, and we are most appreciative.”

Ann’s latest donation was £50, which was raised from the collection, and she also presented handmade gift tags which will bring in an additional £100 when sold.
