Golfers chip in with £8,000 for hospice

High Peak golfers have chipped in with a donation of over £8,000 for Blythe House Hospice, thanks to an event held in Buxton.

Over 80 teams took to Cavendish Golf Course last month for a charity golf day in aid of the Chapel-en-le-Frith hospice, raising a grand total of just over £8,060.

Thanks were given to everyone who played and supported the event.
