Glossop station’s poetry platform

Friends of Glossop Station has unveiled a poetry platform to commemorate the centenary of the start of the First World War.

There are ten poems on display that reflect the conditions of the Great War and are by poets whose lives were tragically cut short, to emphasise how young these men were in service for their country.
