Glossop charity daredevil Kaye Phillips, of who will be crossing the Manchester Ship Canal on a zip wire in aid of High Peak Women’s Aid next month, raised a further £145 for her cause on Monday.

Taking over Glossop People’s Kitchen, at the Labour Club, she cooked up a Lebanese and Turkish vegan feast for punters at £3 a pop. She has now raised more than £1,500.
