GCSE results this year have brought further success to Lady Manners School in Bakewell. A new record of 199 students have achieved five or more passes at Grades A* to C.
This figure represents 84per cent of the students in Year 11 and is a very strong performance.
In fact, even for the more difficult figure of five or more GCSE A* to C including English and Mathematics, the Lady Manners’ performance of 76per cent this year is another record for the school.
Fifty-nine students achieved at least seven full GCSE A or A* grades within their results.
