They told people about history of their house and its former use as a post office, and served refreshments and set up merchandise stalls and a raffle. Now the pair have handed over £189 which they generated at the event to Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance community representative Richard Fletcher.

Richard said: “Support from people such as Sue and Charles really is invaluable and goes a long way to helping to keep our lifesaving service flying.”
