Fundraising rafters give thanks to mountain rescuers
A pair of young rock climbers went to the extreme to thank rescuers who came to their aid.
Jimmy Hyland and Jamie Fisher took part in the Boxing Day Raft Race from Matlock to Cromford – raising £2,068 for Buxton Mountain Rescue Team.
The pair, of Buxton, were climbing on the Roaches, near Leek, when they fell and Jimmy sustained facial injuries, while Jamie broke his ankle.
