Fritchley with Crich WI held their April meeting in the Congregational School Room. The president, Liz Griffiths welcomed everyone.
An outing has been arranged to the Flower Market, Derby, on May 20.
To mark the 90th year of Fritchley WI, a garden party is being arranged for Sunday, June 23, at the home of Clive and Jennifer Bailey, Allen Lane, Fritchley, starting at 2pm. Admission will be free and there will be lots of stalls, cream teas etc.
A celebration dinner is being arranged for Wednesday, July 24, at The School House, South Normanton.
The speaker, Sally Parkin, gave a talk on health and nutrition. Sally has been involved with the Company “Forever Living Products” for over four years and has seen her family and many customers benefit first hand from the products which contain aloe vera and bee by-products. Sally sent round samples of various creams and told of the help these products can give to different ailments. Liz Griffiths gave a vote of thanks.
Refreshments were then served.
The next meeting of Fritchley with Crich WI will take place in the Congregational School Room on May 8, at 7.30pm. If you would like to come along as a visitor or wish to become a new member you will be sure of a warm welcome.
