Detectives investigating an online fraud case have charged four men.

The men, all aged 36, and from South Normanton, have been charged with conspiracy to create articles for the use in fraud, conspiracy to possess criminal property and conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.

They are due before magistrates in Chesterfield, on Monday, June 18.

It is alleged, according to police, that the men advertised high-value items for sale on e-bay which did not exist and created false documents and identities to commit fraud.

It is also alleged that the group, according to police, advertised fake vacancies on an employment website, using it to obtain people’s personal details.
