Year six pupils at Chapel-en-le-Frith Primary School took part in Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day on Friday.
The children, who are in Mrs Oliver’s class, were among pupils from across the country who tuned into an online video at 2pm where the well-known chef showed youngsters how to make a rainbow salad wrap.
The Food Revolution Day was aimed at getting children interested in cooking and food, and celebrating the importance of cooking good food from scratch.
Food Revolution Day is a campaign by the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation in the UK and USA, and The Good Foundation in Australia.
So far, 74 countries have taken part and over 900 ambassadors are championing the cause worldwide.
