Folk legend Ashley Hutchings will be playing a concert on his home patch, alongside gifted singer-songwriter Ken Nicol.
The pair will headline Chesterfield Folk Club’s monthly concert at Club Chesterfield, off Chester Street, on Friday, February 11,
The concert follows their successful Copper, Russet and Gold tour last year.
Ashley, who lives in Cutthorpe, is founder of the now legendary group Fairport Convention and has a pedigree second to none in the folk world with Steeleye Span, the Albion Band and latterly the Rainbow Chasers to his credit.
Talented guitarist Ken has worked with the Albion Band and Steeleye Span for the past 15 years.
Their concert in Chesterfield will be opened by two local performers, Carol Fieldhouse and Lorna Cooper.
