Wedding anniversaries will come under the spotlight next weekend as Quarnford Parish Church holds its annual flower festival.
The festival will run from Saturday June 15 to Tuesday June 18 from 11am to 7pm each day.
On June 15 the Flash Loyal Union Society will be affectionately remembered with a service at 2pm followed by the blessing of the village well, and the “teapot” parade through the village.
And on Sunday June 16 the Songs of Praise service takes place with the Longnor Benefice Choir at 7pm. There will also be a social evening at 7.30pm on Monday.
Throughout the festival refreshments will be served in church.
Anyone attending the festival is invited to hunt through their belongings to find items for a new recycling scheme to help church funds.
Items wanted are: odd earrings, broken chains, costume jewellery, watches, plastic beads, old/new, foreign/UK currency, even pre-Euro notes and coins and mobile phones.
