Firefighters extinguish shed blaze

CHESTERFIELD firefighters armed with a hose reel jet put out a blazing shed after a garden fire spread and got out control.

The fire erupted at Circular Road, Staveley, about 4.35pm, on Thursday, August 24, and damaged a 6ft x 4ft shed.

A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said the area was made safe within 20 minutes.
