Firefighters called to chimney fire
Firefighters from Alfreton attended a chimney fire in South Normanton last night (April 8).
The crew attended the blaze on Alfreton Road at around 8.55pm, and used a nine-metre ladder and roof crawler to put water down the chimney pot.
A reinspection of the chimney is set to take place later today.
