Fire at metal plant in Old Glossop
Firefighters tackled a fire at a metal refinery in Glossop this morning (Monday).
Crews from Glossop, New Mills and Stalybridge were called to Firth Rixson, at Meadow Mills, on Shepley Street, Old Glossop, at 12.30am.
The 20-metre high building and a ten-metre squared furnace pit area were alight.
