Everest charity trek

A HAIRDRESSER is swapping his hairdryer for hiking boots when he embarks on a trek of Mt. Everest for charity.

Mark Stevenson of Dronfield will set off on the gruelling 18-day mission on November 22, reaching 18500 feet as he scales the mountain of Kalla Patthar, in the foothills of Mt. Everest to raise money for Action Medical Research.

“I do fundraising for a different charity but I have never done anything like this before” said Mark, who has already raised over £5000 for the charity.
