Emergency crew treats crash victim

FIREFIGHTERS made a crash scene safe after two cars were involved in a collision.

The crash happened on Elm Street, Hollingwood, near Chesterfield, about 9.55am, on Wednesday, August 10.

A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “No one was trapped in the vehicles but one male was given first aid for neck injuries before the arrival of an ambulance.”

Firefighters also cleared the crash scene and made the area safe for other motorists within about half-an-hour.
