The news of Elton’s B2net date has got people talking throughout town and online.

On our Facebook page, fans are divided over the Rocketman’s plans to land in Chesterfield.

One, Rosemary Asher, said: “Oh...erm..okay - is that it then? Have I been waiting all day for that?” while others, like Jayne Doll Lawson were excited by the news. She said: “He may not be everybody’s cup of tea but this is a great event for Chesterfield. Seems no matter what’s done most people whinge.”
