Elderly woman injured after smash
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Brimington.
At about 5.45pm yesterday, a red Vauxhall Astra was in collision with an elderly woman on the A619 Chesterfield Road, near to Bradley Way.
The woman was taken to the Northern General Hospital with a head injury. She also suffered a broken wrist and cracked ribs.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the East Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
