VIDEO: Responsible pupils are well-behaved

This week we’re turning the spotlight on another wonderful Derbyshire school for our popular Primary Focus feature.

In its latest Ofsted inspection, education watchdogs highlighted a number of positives at Renishaw Primary School.

They included:

• The school is well led

• There are good relationships at the school

• Adults look after pupils well throughout the school day

• Youngsters enjoy school and make good progress because teaching is good

• There are good partnerships with other organisations to support the well-being of any pupils who may need extra help

In addition, inspectors hailed youngsters for being well-behaved

They added: “Pupils identify the many opportunities they have to take responsibility such as being a member on the school council.”

The school has about 160 pupils aged between three and 11.
