A much-loved headteacher is to retire from an Eckington school this week.

Angela Coulton will say a fond farewell to Eckington Camm’s Endowed CE Primary School after 16 years.

She said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with fantastic children, parents, governors and staff. I have overseen many milestones at Camm’s most notably the 2002 tricentenary celebrations and our outstanding Ofsted award in 2010. However, I get most pleasure from watching the children grow and flourish, from starting in our nursery aged three to leaving us as confident young people in year six. This is the part of the job I will miss the most.”
