A number of Year 11 pupils from Tibshelf Community School have just returned from a three-night visit to Scotland.

The pupils had been rewarded for their continuing good work and commitment to school life.

They took part in a number of outdoor adventure activities and survived the midges and torrential rain.

Two nights were spent in the Rhowadennan Youth Hostel, on Loch Lomand, where pupils also prepared all the meals after shopping for supplies.

A celebratory meal in Glasgow completed the trip.

There was a competitive element and for the fifth year running, the girls; The Screaming Scots, led by Mrs Allen, were victorious.

Mr Kenworthy and the boys did, however, at least provide the girls with a challenge this year.

Many congratulations to the whole group who were absolutely fantastic and a real credit to the school.
