A glowing Ofsted report
Temple Normanton Primary School received a glowing Ofsted report.
Most things about the Elm Street school were judged to be good and some excellent when inspectors visited in December.
They said the school had made good progress since its last inspection and had many strengths including:
l Lessons delivered with imagination and flair and frequent opportunities for the children to develop speaking and listening skills
l Carefully planned lessons to meet the varying abilities of pupils
l Good relationships between staff, parents and carers
l Good leadership and management with motivated and ambitious staff
l A rich and varied curriculum with a good range of practical activities.
Headteacher Janet Baxter said: “Our children are at the heart of everything we do at Temple Normanton Primary School so it’s satisfying that inspectors recognise we provide a warm and supportive environment for our pupils to learn in.”
