Glenda Bream, a member of the Dronfield Floral Art Club recently passed her examinations to qualify as a NAFAS Demonstrator. Her debut demonstration was a huge success at her club in the Dronfield Civic Centre. She showed members and visitors how to make both traditional and contemporary arrangements, using spring flowers and foliage easily available in most gardens.
Glenda had shown an interest in flowers since being a child, and progressed from “small beginnings” (the title of her demonstration) to being a qualified florist and now an area demonstrator.
Dronfield Floral Art Club meets the first Thursday of the month at Dronfield Civic Hall, at 7.30pm, with the exception of March when it will be held at Gosforth Lodge, Callywhite Lane, Dronfield. There will be a workshop of how to make floral handbags. Visitors welcome.
