Drivers taken to hospital after crash outside Chesterfield Royal

Two drivers were taken to hospital after a crash outside the Royal in Chesterfield this morning.

A Fiat Panda, Toyota Yaris and Suzuki SX4 S-Cross collided on Hady Hill shortly before 8.40am.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: "Two drivers went to hospital but thankfully their injuries aren't life-threatening or life-changing.

"The road was blocked and traffic was backing up to Hollis Lane.

"The road had reopened by 10.50am."
