FUN-LOVING fellas pounded the streets of Chesterfield to run up pots of cash for Ashgate Hospice.
Scores of big-hearted blokes dressed as ladies for the hospice’s ever-popular annual five-mile Fancy Drag Race on Sunday.
Runners pledged more than £36,000 for the hospice, on Ashgate Road, which provides free specialist care for the terminally ill.
Speedy Stuart Bond completed the five-mile fun run in 26 minutes and 40 seconds.
Emily Evans, a fundraiser at Ashgate Hospice, said: “It was an absolutely amazing day.
“We would like to thank everyone involved in this wonderful event.
“We’re looking to next year’s run already.”
