DOE LEA: Centre hosts summer holiday activities

Doe Lea Centre is organising a range of activities for children during the summer holidays.

Have a fun time making sculptures out of cardboard on July 21, 10am-12 noon or 1pm–3pm. Activity is free. For children aged 5–12 years.

In the school holidays the following is taking place:

Recycled garden mobiles - Produce a mobile using a variety of recycled and natural materials on Wednesday, July 31, 1pm – 3pm. Activity is free. Ages 5-12 years; Improve your digital photography - Photograph the local nature in Doe Lea, with a tutor who will help you improve your photography skills. Saturday, August 3, 10am–3pm. Cost £4; Hanging willow garden sculptures - Produce a hanging sculpture using card, willow and other natural materials. Wednesday, August 7, 1pm–3pm. Activity is free. Ages 5-12 years; Clay Animals - Use air drying clay to create small animal sculptures. Monday, August 19, 1pm–3pm. Activity is free. Ages 5-12 years.
