AMBER Valley residents are heading to the polls to vote in this year’s local elections.

Fifteen of the Tory borough council’s 45 wards are up for election.

A council spokesman said: “Polling stations are open now and close at 10pm. Don’t forget to use your vote. Take your polling card to your designated polling station and take part in local democracy.”
