Derbyshire travel: Roadworks cause delays

The roads are again blissfully clear of accidents this morning (Wednesday, August 27), but roadworks are still causing problems on the roads.

There are temporary traffic lights on the B6039 Chesterfield Road in Holmewood at the A6175 Williamthorpe Road junction and at the roundabout construction on A61 Derby Road in Wingerworth between the Longedge Lane junction and the Nottingham Drive junction.

Erin Road in Duckmanton is closed in both directions between the Markham Road junction and the Staveley Road junction, due to an ongoing development at Markham Vale.

The B6038 The Green in Hasland is closed at the B6039 Hasland Road junction due to roadworks and resurfacing work and temporary traffic lights on B6543 Malkin Street in Chesterfield between the Crow Lane junction and the Brimington Road junction is causing traffic delays.

The B6039 Mansfield Road in Temple Normanton is closed at the Springwood Street junction due to roadworks.
